WASHINGTON - Representative Raul M. Grijalva said he is accepting applications for the Congressional Youth Advisory Council (YAC) to give young adults an opportunity to learn about the government.
YAC is said to offer young adults between 15-years-old to 20-years-old an opportunity to learn about the government, collaborate, and discuss the various topics relevant to and impacting communities at a local, national, and global level.
“Our district is full of young individuals who each day makes a difference in our community and strive for a better tomorrow,” said Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva. “I am happy to launch our Youth Advisory Council to engage with a diverse group of leaders who seek to learn, collaborate and provide feedback on the policies that impact their lives.”
