YUMA, Ariz. - Paradise Casino hosted a meet and greet for legendary Raider, Tim Brown on Monday.
The Hall of Famer, wide receiver stepped into the lounge with a big smile as he greeted fans and said, “From now on, there's only one Brown in the Raider family.”
Fans cheered to the statement with excitement while waiting in line to get their memorabilia signed by the legend.
Earlier this year, Tim Brown had expressed his excitement about bringing on Antonio Brown (AB) to the silver and black, but when he was released on Saturday, the Hall of Famer expressed on twitter that it is best for the organization to move forward without him.
AB was released from the Raiders' organization on Saturday and was later signed to the New England Patriots on a one-year contract, with a $20 million option year for 2020.
Tim Brown encouraged fans during his meet and greet to move forward and welcome the season with excitement.
The Raiders took the 24-16 win in their season-opener against the Denver Broncos.
Rookie running back, Josh Jacobs stole the night with 113 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns on 24 total touches.
Jacobs is the first player since Hall of Fame running back LaDainian Tomlinson in 2001 with 100-yards from scrimmage and two rushing touchdowns in his NFL debut, according to ESPN.
