Yuma Catholic baseball dominates Antelope!

Shamrocks win off of early barrage of runs

YUMA, Ariz. - Both the Antelope Rams and Yuma Catholic Shamrocks baseball programs are coming off wins before their 1st and only meeting of the season on Yuma's west side.

From the start, Rocks starting pitcher Audie Ethington was "in control" on the mound as he retired the 1st 6 Rams batters he faced on the afternoon and only gave up a single run in the entire contest.

Meanwhile, YC's offense was active in the 1st inning alone, as they scored 5 runs early to help set the tone for their 11-1 victory on Thursday afternoon.

The Rocks will continue with a pair of home games next week, while the Rams will have a 2-week break before continuing their season in April.
